ST. LOUIS, MO (April 3, 2012) — It’s time to help a child excel in and out of school. The good news is it doesn’t need to take much time. The great news is it will forever have a lasting, positive effect on that child and, in turn, our community. Starting April 4, sign up with Education Express and become one of the 2,000 people needed to help children become successful in the region. United Way of Greater St. Louis is organizing this tremendous effort and is working with more than 30 participating schools and nonprofit organizations.
Examples of how you can make a difference in a child’s future:
- Provide homework help at an after-school program
- Read to kids at an elementary school
- Mentor at an agency or school
