Innovative Technology Education Fund Awards Over $231K in its Spring Grant Cycle

ST. LOUIS, MO, JUNE 11, 2012:  The Innovative Technology Education Fund (ITEF) has awarded a total of over $1.4 million dollars in educational grants with its spring 2012 grant cycle, according to Lisa Dinga, ITEF Executive Director. A private foundation dedicated to supporting innovative learning in the classroom through the integration of leading edge technologies, the ITEF has supported public, private, and parochial schools in both Missouri and Illinois since 2006.

The spring grant cycle will provide computers and mobile internet access for students working in the field on their EMT training; iPads for 1:1 computing; interactive white boards to support an expanded kindergarten curriculum; a pilot project to bring gamification into a high school statistics class, and much more.
