Landmark Survey Reveals the Latest Thinking of St. Louis Professionals

(St. Louis, MO – March 23, 2012): The Regional Business Council (RBC) announces the results of a first-time, milestone survey of 1200 young, ethnically diverse professionals, members of the Young Professionals Network (YPN), who live and work in the St. Louis region.

With 400 respondents, the survey reveals answers to key questions never before asked of diverse leaders in St. Louis. The respondents represent 300 top local companies, including Build-A-Bear, Bunge, Cassidy Turley, BJC Health Care, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, McCarthy Building Group, Save-A-Lot, Scottrade, The Boeing Company, and Wells Fargo Advisors.

The background of the respondents, primarily 21 to 45 years of age, is:

  • African American/Black:  64%
  • Caucasian/non Hispanic white:  20%
  • Asian:  10%
  • Hispanic/Latino:  8%
  • Bi-racial:  5%
